When you visit FixaPros, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the platform. This helps us improve the service and detect fraud.
The primary purpose of collecting your service request information is to match you with verified local contractors. Your name, phone number, and email are shared only with contractors who have paid to claim your specific lead.
We use your information to manage your account, process payments, send transactional emails (such as password resets and confirmation messages), and provide customer support.
We analyze aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve our matching algorithms, identify popular services, and enhance the overall user experience. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
When a contractor pays to claim your lead, we share your name, phone number, email address, and project details with that contractor only. No other contractors can access this information for that specific request.
FixaPros does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party marketing companies, data brokers, or advertisers. This is a core principle of our platform.
We work with trusted third-party services to operate the platform — including payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and cloud hosting. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to FixaPros.

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit, bcrypt hashing for passwords, and secure session management. Our database is hosted on isolated infrastructure with access controls.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Service request data is retained for up to 3 years for dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your data by emailing info@fixapros.com.
